As we close the chapter on our second year in business, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for how far we’ve come. Our passion for coffee—from its agronomy to the perfect cup—is what inspired us to start this journey as coffee roasters. Here's a look at what made 2024 such a special year for us:
Starting the Year with New Coffees
This year, we launched two exciting offerings: Colombia Washed and Yellow Bourbon & Pink Bourbon Natural Peaberry. These were not just new coffees but milestones for us.
-
Colombia Washed: Our first collaboration with Doña María Cristina Guasca. Her coffee embodies the classic smooth mouthfeel of the Colombia variety, elevated by complex flavors of chocolate, herbs, and spices. We’re thrilled to continue offering this exceptional coffee as long as we can.
-
Yellow Bourbon & Pink Bourbon Natural Peaberry: Our first-ever limited edition. This coffee dazzled with its fruity elegance, featuring vibrant aromas of raspberry and a lingering mango aftertaste. We can’t wait to bring it back in the future.
Opening Our Coffee Bar
In May, we took a big step forward by opening a coffee bar in front of our roastery. This exciting news was even featured in Strängnäs Tidning, where Oscar Stomberg wrote a fantastic article about our journey and vision.
The coffee bar has been an incredible way to connect with our community, share our passion for coffee, and learn from all of you. It’s been a platform to align our mission with your coffee experiences. We’re proud to be part of the European Coffee Trip community, and you can now find us featured in their app!
Handcrafted Cups for a Personal TouchTo complement our cozy coffee bar, we introduced hand-crafted and individually made cups in two sizes, 100 mL and 180 mL. Designed to fit all the drinks we serve, these cups add a unique touch to your coffee experience. We’ve also set aside a limited number of these beautifully crafted cups for you to take home and enjoy. The cups were made by El Torno De Carola in Medellín, Colombia!
Joining Sörmlands Matkluster
This year, we became members of the Sörmlands Matkluster. It’s been inspiring to meet so many talented producers and service providers in the region. Sharing experiences with them has been a highlight of our year and a reminder of the power of collaboration.
Many of you have had the pleasure of sharing and tasting our coffees, exploring their unique flavor profiles. If you haven’t yet, don’t worry—Paul Said from Kaffenytt has taken on the delightful task of reviewing each of them. Judging by his feedback, he’s been enjoying the process just as much as we’ve enjoyed sharing our coffees with him.
Thank you so much, Paul, for your thoughtful reviews and for highlighting the nuances of our offerings!
If you’re looking for something specific or need a bit of inspiration, we highly encourage you to check out Paul’s reviews. They might just help you find your next favorite coffee.
Joining Roastguide’s Global Coffee Catalogue
This year, we were honored to be included in Roastguide’s global coffee catalogue, the largest of its kind. Being featured alongside some of the world’s top coffee roasters is both humbling and exciting. Roastguide’s mission to explore every corner of the specialty coffee world resonates deeply with us, and we’re thrilled to be part of their journey.
This inclusion not only celebrates the quality of our offerings but also strengthens our connection to the global coffee community. We invite you to explore their app and find new flavors.
Custom Coffee Collaboration
In the second half of the year, we partnered with David Blomberg and Johan De Geer from the SaaS company Whitespace, to develop a bespoke coffee for their company, Kaffe01, a coffee that captures Whitespace essence. This project was a thrilling challenge that pushed us to grow and brought us into contact with Whitespace's network of freelance creatives, including the stylist Fanny Hamlin and videographer Joakim Rolandsson!!

This collaboration marked a significant milestone for La Clara, increasing our roasted coffee volume and bringing us closer to our short-term goals.
New WebshopAnother major development for us was launching a new webshop that truly reflects our branding and our mission to communicate the high quality of our coffees. It also highlights the hard work and dedication of the producers behind every cup. Andres has done an outstanding job designing and refining the aesthetics, and he continues to improve the platform to serve you better.
Looking Ahead
2024 has been a year of growth, learning, and connection. We’ve expanded our network, shared unforgettable experiences, and laid a strong foundation for what’s next.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Stay tuned for what’s brewing in 2025—we can’t wait to share it with you!
