Meet: Oscar Restrepo.
Oscar has been with La Clara since the very beginning
Oscar is the owner, together with his family, of Finca La Divisa and Finca El Jazmín. La Divisa farm is located in "Vereda Pavero" in Apia, Risaralda (Colombia) between 1750 and 1820 mamsl.
Oscar is dedicated to his land and people, trying to open new opportunities in the coffee industry not only for himself but also for his neighbors. Through his company, Memorable, he is reaching out to farmers who need support in leveling up their coffee to a higher cupping score. Thus helping them achieve better pay for their work.
Oscar’s enthusiasm for sharing the best fruits of his labor in a coffee cup has brought him first place in the "Coffee Quality, Natural Processed Coffee" category during "Calle del Café" event for two years running (Apia, Risaralda). This event brings together all the coffee producers from the region, as they showcase their best products. Try out our Geisha Natural to taste Oscar's winning flavors!.
Oscar has been with La Clara since the very beginning, and his coffees represent what we want to bring to our friends. He and Jose met at the university, where both of them studied farming engineering. Although they parted ways after their degree, La Clara has reunited them once again to build and connect deeply with their land and their people, and to share his amazing coffee with you, friends!
